Lunesta pill

What is Lunesta?

Zopiclone is sold under the brand name Lunesta. It is a non-benzodiazepine hypnotic agent that aids in treating insomnia. Lunesta can slow down neural activity and functionality of the central nervous system which results in relaxation, drowsiness, and sometimes sedation. It is one of the most popular medications in treating short-term insomnia. Available doses are 1mg, 2mg, and 3mg. You can buy Lunesta online and other anti-insomnia pills or medications at our online pharmacy.

Composition of Lunesta:

Zopiclone is a white to light- yellow crystalline solid that is soluble in phosphate buffer, very slightly soluble in water and slightly soluble in ethanol. Lunesta comes in film-coated tablet which contains 1mg, 2mg, and 3mg of zopiclone. It also has inactive ingredient components including polyethylene glycol, titanium dioxide, triacetin, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, lactose, and calcium phosphate.

Dosage and intended use of Lunesta:

Most doctors recommend 1 mg as a starting dose. However, it can increase to 2 mg or 3 mg if clinically directed. For the elderly, it is not advisable to exceed Lunesta 2mg daily. In case the doctor prescribes the 3 mg dosage of zopiclone, you should not do activities the next day that will require alertness. This medication is taken orally, usually just before you get into bed. Do not take it with or right after a high-fat or heavy meal since it may not work. Only take a dose of this drug if you have time for a full night's sleep of at least 7 to 8 hours. Importantly, consult your doctor before increasing or decreasing your dosage to prevent serious side effects.

How Lunesta works and affects the body:

Lunesta interacts with GABA receptors in the brain which is a neurotransmitter that plays a calming role in the brain. A person feels sleepy and very relaxed after using this drug because it is a central nervous system depressant. Lunesta slows down breathing and heart rate. In most cases, a dose of Lunesta 2mg will be out of the system within 24 to 48 hours.
